Martí Ribas began in the professional and artistic work as a painter with a broad commitment to etching. After his first exhibitions he is devoted to the implementation of the visual arts in different areas: the cultural press, illustration and posters (1978-1983), the TV, through illustration, scenery and cartoons on TVE, Antena 3 TV and mainly on TV in Catalonia (1983-1995). During this same period he develops his dedication to the comic, where in addition to publication in a fluid environment journals, he has published two albums as an author, as well as prestigious exhibitions throughout Catalonia, Denmark and Oslo. In 1995, he abandons traditional plastic techniques definitely and adopts new technologies. He creates Reversible (Animations) with Núria Garcia Caldes, a company dedicated to the realization of interactive and digital animation films in the field of cultural and scientific dissemination to major universities and institutions in Catalonia. With some of these achievements and others free creation, he has participated in many festivals of the image where he has received significant awards.
His current work is based on the synthesis of these experiences in the field of photomontage and digital photography, in a work strictly copyright, which is expressed through visual presentations and collaborations in various projects, as it has been done at the XXIII Congress of the Spanish Society of Pathology, in Tarragona.
