Antonio Xaus began studying painting at LLotja.
He is one of the major transgressive artist of the Catalan plasticity of the late twentieth century, because he is capable of creating brilliant works, full of vitality and expression, a work full of color and synthesis which is reflected the strength of the gesture.
He studied in Barcelona and Paris, has made international exhibitions, including shows in Spain, Europe, Chile and the United States.
Xaus is one of the great innovators of the late twentieth century in the scene Catalan art.

Josep Royo began his studies at the School of Drawing in Sant Cugat del Valles, then studied painting at the Escola Massana in Barcelona. In 1959 he began to work on the tapestry factory Aymat Sant Cugat del Valles, which later will be the Catalan School of Tapestry. Through his work with the textile he gets international recognition, working with very well-known artists of his time like Miró, or Tàpies.
His works have been exhibited worldwide, his recognition as an artist is not only due to his important contributions, but also to his own work.
